Day 171 (27th June) – Tumbling Waters, NT
Visited Berry Springs in the morning – loved floating down the springs with the pool noodle and inner tube.
Visited the restaurant at the caravan park for dinner and watched an outdoor movie under a full moon.
Day 172 (28th June) – Tumbling Waters, NT
Visited Cascades in Litchfield NP – hiked to the top falls. Had lunch at Wangi Falls then a swim at the caravan park. Luke and Lily met some other kids and had fun riding around the caravan park.
Day 173 (29th June) – Tumbling Waters, NT to Corroboree Park Tavern, NT
We drove back towards Darwin, topped up with food and fuel and headed towards Kakadu. Arrived in Corroboree Park Tavern just after lunch. Spent the afternoon swimming in the pool and relaxing.
Day 174 (30th June) – Corroboree Park Tavern, NT to Jabiru, NT
Spent the morning driving to Jabiru where we got setup and again had a swim and relaxed (see a trend here?)
Day 175 (1st July ) – Jabiru
Visited Ubir art sites and lookout which was amazing. Checked out Cahills crossing and even had a quick fish with no luck. It was territory day and Jabiru was holding fireworks that night, which we visited.
Day 176 (2nd July) – Jabiru, NT to Cooinda Campground, NT
Stopped at the rock art on the road at Nouralangie and listened to a ranger talk about some of the customs of the people who live there. Continued on to Cooinda campground where we had lunch.
Day 177 (3rd July) – Cooinda Campground, NT
Started off early with a sunrise cruise followed by a buffet breakfast. Visited Jim Jim falls in the late morning/afternoon. Had a meal at the restaurant.
