Day 254/255 (19th/20th Sep) – South Mission Beach, QLD
Continued our time at Mission beach. Did some more walks and exploring locally including a hike to the top of murray falls.
Day 256 (21st Sep) – South Mission Beach, QLD to Rollingstone, QLD
Drove south to a caravan park on the beach at Rollingstone. It was a massive park right on the beach with an amazing pool and a jumping pillow Lily loved!
Day 257/258 (22nd/23rd) – Rollingstone, QLD
Spent a few days just relaxing – kids made numerous friends so were happy to play. Bought some local pineapple which was amazing and explored the beach to the south of Rollingstone.
Day 259 (24th) – Rollingstone, QLD to Guthalungra Rest Area, QLD
Left Rollingstone, bypassed Townsville and found a free camp just after lunch which looked pretty good. Another family pulled up and Luke immediately made friends with their son.
Day 260 (25th) – Guthalungra Rest Area, QLD to Airlie Beach, QLD
Drove the short distance to Airlie beach which we had booked up a while ago. Was a little windy but we got setup and did some shopping.
